This site from The Hans Christian Andersen Center provides a timetable of events relating to Hans Christian Andersen's life and a more in-depth chronology of his life. In addition, the site contains the text of Jean Hersholt's "The Complete Andersen" which contains almost all of Andersen's beloved fairy tales. The site also contains some of Andersen's poetry, available in both English and Danish. Having all these marvelous fairy tales together in a single site heightens the enjoyment of them.
