Fourth graders participate in role plays in order to consider how they use body language and facial expressions to convey their feelings. In this nonverbal communication instructional activity, 4th graders discuss the importance of paying attention to the nonverbal language of others. Students are assigned an emotion to demonstrate in front of the class; classmates guess what emotion the student is portraying.
