The Holocaust is the focus of this interactive poetry strategy. The classroom will be set-up to remind students of the Secret Annex, with a table, lamp, and various other props. Each participant will receive 3  Saltine crackers and water to help simulate the conditions of the Annex. Vocabulary and written activities will be the focus as students participate in the simulation. Note: Some of the materials may not be available (quiz), but could be substituted.
