Young scholars complete activities for an apple themed lesson. In this math and language arts lesson, students read an apple book and guess how many seeds are in an apple. Young scholars draw pictures of apples and use a bobby pin to take the seeds out of the apple and count them. Students may eat their apples and sing a related song. Young scholars then may decorate apple shaped sugar cookies.
