Apple, banana, apple, banana...what's next? Youngsters practice recognizing patterns using these object sequences. For the first four patterns, they examine the start of a set, find the pattern, and complete the subsequent drawings in the space provided. Next, there are two more complex patterns that learners complete by filling in designs in the last few objects of a set. Incorporate an engaging art project by having scholars create patterns of their own, encouraging them to be as detailed as possible.
