Gen Z, those born between 1997 and 2012, according to research, is the "most racially and ethnically diverse generation in U.S. history." Gen Z high schoolers are challenged to consider how they identify themselves. They select a photo they feel best represents them, add several sentences as a caption, and post their work in a class gallery. They then compare the class's work with a gallery of photos from a New York Times article about How Gen Z from across the country identify themselves.
