Illustrative Mathematics: Counting Circles Ii

Curated by ACT

Students will stand and form a circle facing in toward each other. The teacher will select a counting sequence to be practiced with no more than 6-10 numbers. The students will start counting around the circle one by one until the last number in the sequence is reached. At that point, that student sits down and the game continues until one student is left standing. Variations of this game are included.
