Young scholars discover archaeology by investigating the history of Native Americans in Georgia.  In this U.S. history instructional activity, students participate in a mock archaeological excavation in their classroom by recovering artifacts and drawings brought in by the teacher.  Young scholars complete an archaeological dig worksheet based on the clues they discovered from the artifacts.
