Three activities to help students with early math fluency: Quantity Discrimination (QD): The student is given a sheet of number pairs and must verbally identify the larger of the two values for each pair. Missing Number (MN): The student is given a sheet that contains a series of 3- or 4-number sequences. In each sequence, one number is missing. The student must verbally identify the missing number. Number Identification (NID): The student is given a page containing a series of randomly selected numbers. The student must read these numbers aloud.
