Explain the tongue movement in making the /t/ sound, asking learners to try it. Draw the t on the board and give examples of words with this initial sound. Now, scholars play a game with you to cement this information. Draw (or place) 12 letters on the board, four of which are the letter t. As you point to each, players say the sound if it's a t, but stay silent for every other letter. Letter cards are provided.
