In this lesson about pH, students work together in three to four groups to test substances. moving between three different stations performing tests on the substances to determine whether they are an acid, base, or neutral. Young scholars understand why it is important to maintain a pH balance between acid and base in soil. Students create the perfect soil based on their learned knowledge of pH.
