Students study the individuality of fingerprints. In this fingerprint instructional activity, students determine that each person has a unique set of fingerprints. They rub their fingertips with soft pencil lead and rub the print off on a piece of tape. They look at the prints with magnifying glasses. They record a full set of fingerprints on an activity sheet and play detective to identify fingerprints of other children in the class. (not included)
