Second graders utilize Microsoft Word to create stationery and letters to send to other children in their school building, expressing experiences in their daily lives. As the unit progresses, they create documents to send to other second graders in our community via E-mail, using various font sizes and styles, graphics, and applying the basic parts of a letter (Date, Greeting, Body, Closing and Salutation).
