Young scholars investigate the Winter Olympics by studying the geography of the 2010 Vancouver games.  In this competitive sports instructional activity, students identify the planning and preparation needed to produce an event like the Winter Olympics.  Young scholars utilize a map to measure the distance between venue sites of the 2010 games, and discuss if Seattle would be a good site for the Olympics.
