Students explore and examine the increases and/or decreases for water user groups: irrigation, municipal, manufacturing, steam electric power generation cooling, livestock, and mining. They utilize percentage changes during their explorations as well as graphs to visualize the data they collect. In addition, they trace the important role that water has played in the history of Texas starting with the settlements of Native Americans.
