Young scholars use diagrams to compare structural differences that taxonomists use to classify animals. In this classification lesson plan, students compare structures of different species from given diagrams. In one diagram they identify the phylum of each species, in another they identify the class of each species, in another they identify the order of each species and finally the family names of each species.
