Ninth graders read chapter eighteen of A Lesson Before Dying. Students will deepen their understanding about the lessons that Grant and Jefferson are learning about humanity by rereading sections of the text and answering questions. Students will also add to the humanity understanding tool and the character interaction understanding tool.
