Students create a plan to better their school. In this civil service instructional activity, students will deepen their understanding of the term "philanthropy" by reflecting on Martin Luther King, Jr's "I Have a Dream" speech and a quote by John F. Kennedy. Then students brainstorm and carry out a way that they can better their school community.
