Use this introductory geometry worksheet as a projected warm-up for your class, doing it together and then revealing the explanation on the bottom half. Learners examine a square and a circle, each bisected by a dotted line. They must look at four shapes to determine which pairs could be put together to form the circle and the square. Because the square's two halves look the same, they should recognize the two rectangles can go in either spot. Introduce or reiterate the term half.
