In two groups, learners research the history and current building of clipper ships. In this inquiry lesson plan, students present information and compare and contrast the technological revolution with the development of clipper ships. Learners design project's depicting voyages. Students create proposals to donors to provide funding for the Shining Sea Foundation to maintain a full scale American clipper Ship.
