600 Million Years is a permanent exhibition at the Melbourne Museum that examines how Australia evolved through the geological ages, and the dinosaurs and other prehistoric life that lived in the Victoria area in the distant past. The exhibition has a detailed geological timeline, a large collection of videos where researchers discuss their work, fossil activities for kids, a virtual tour of the exhibition, and teacher resources. An excellent site!
