National Underground Railroad Freedom Center

Curated by ACT

The National Underground Railroad Freedom Center features the history of slavery in the United States, from the gallant actions of those who organized the Underground Railroad to stories of those who escaped to freedom. Strategically located in Cincinnati, Ohio, the Freedom Center sits next to the dividing line of the North and the South, the Ohio River. The exhibits within the Freedom Center work to educate people in an effort to end to slavery by learning from our past to free those still enslaved today.
