The eastern Canada population of wolverines is endangered and may even be extirpated in many areas. Sightings are hard to confirm, as it closely resembles the fisher and the porcupine. Where it has possibly survived, it is hard to help it as the numbers are so low and its range so large. Facts about the wolverine's diet, behavior, etc. are outlined as well as efforts that are being made to conserve it.
