From the National Council of Teachers of English, "this document is a code of best practices that helps educators using media literacy concepts and techniques to interpret the copyright doctrine of fair use." Use this site to help you understand what you can and cannot or should not do when using copyrighted material for educational purposes. In addition to the Code of Best Practices, there is an interesting section which debunks common myths and misperceptions about Fair Use. Much of what is contained in that section may ease your concerns about how you can use copyrighted material for education.
