Third graders study about the location, physical setting and the major individuals and groups that founded Old Shasta, a local historical landmark. They identify and write out five facts about Old Shasta and write out a three page informational research paper about Old Shasta. A poster is also created that represents an area of interest surrounding Old Shasta.
