Curated by ACT

Sue T. Rex is the largest, most complete Tyrannosaurus Rex skeleton to date. It was discovered and excavated by the Black Hills Institute of Geological Research in South Dakota. The U.S. Government seized Sue from the Institute in 1992 and a lengthy legal battle over ownership ensued. Sue was eventually auctioned off and now resides in the Field Museum in Chicago.
