Students explore simple patterns.  In this mathematical thinking geometry lesson, students repeat clapping and snapping patterns, and determine what comes next in sound and movement patterns.  Students recite "Hey, Diddle, Diddle," then sort and create patterns using plastic forks, spoons, and dishes.
