Learners explore simple patterns.  In this mathematical thinking geometry instructional activity, students repeat clapping and snapping patterns, and determine what comes next in sound and movement patterns.  Learners recite "Hey, Diddle, Diddle," then sort and create patterns using plastic forks, spoons, and dishes.
