Patterns of Heredity

A family tree of dogs guides students through this activity, in which students analyze the pedigree. With a key describing the genetic attributes (tall dominant, short recessive, or male/female), students complete five questions about the pedigree. This activity would be a great addition to a heredity unit, particularly as a group activity or homework assignment.
