It describes what teachers, leaders, and the school as a whole do when they have created the systems and culture to support the effective classroom implementation of PBL, and captures, in clear and concrete language, the various components of a high-functioning, sustainable PBL school. It can be used to help plan, guide, and evaluate efforts to develop and sustain school- or system-wide use of PBL.
