Pbs: Guns Germs, & Steel

Although the video of the PBS offering of Jared Diamond's Pulitzer Prize-winning book, Guns, Germs, and Steel, is no longer available on line, the transcripts of all three episodes are. Diamond addresses the question of global inequality and goes back 3,0000 years to follow the opportunities, and often luck, of societies throughout the world. Included is an interactive feature that shows the vegetation, climate, and wildlife across the globe. There are also lesson plans that accompany each episode.
