Patterns are everywhere! In this week-long learning adventure, children will discover what a pattern is and explore patterns in different ways. Children will learn that patterns consist of a "core" or "unit" that repeats as they identify and match patterns in their afterschool space. They will continue to explore and investigate by singing patterns, dancing patterns, building patterns, tasting patterns, and end the adventure by creating their own patterns. Each section of this week-long adventure is introduced by a video clip or online game that encourages children to explore math concepts and skills related to understanding patterns.
