Learners will have a chance to examine their own political beliefs and then compare with the political philosophies of the six major U.S. political parties and the Tea Party movement. To make the lesson plan even more compelling, students will then assume the role of a political strategist from one of these organizations, conduct research and develop a strategy to get their candidate's message out to voters.
