For this lesson, students will analyze the rules of snowboarding as established by the US Ski and Snowboard Association (USSA) in order to help them develop an athletic code of conduct for elementary school students. This code of conduct may be applied to a physical education class or to elementary team sports. Students will also collaborate to create an evaluation tool for use by the USSA for assessing the conduct of their athletes. Numerous resources are linked throughout.
