This lab is designed to have students investigate the factors that affect the rate at which a capacitor charges. Students can change the resistance and capacitance in the circuit and monitor the current, voltage and charge on the capacitor. Graphs can be made of voltage vs. time for the battery, resistor and capacitor, current vs. time, charge vs. time.
