Positive Behavior Intervention and Support: Swpbis for Beginners

Curated by ACT

This article focuses on a school-wide positive behavior support (SWPBS) program. The goal is teaching behavioral expectations in the same manner as any core curriculum subject. The school will focus on three to five behavioral expectations that are positively stated; rather than telling students what not to do, the school will focus on the preferred behaviors. Links are provided for videos, materials, and presentations explaining SWPBS.
