Race Car Activity

Young scholars investigate linear functions.  In this linear functions lesson, students are given a situation where two race cars start at the same point.  Young scholars have four graphs that they match to the race car scenario.  Students describe what the graphs of another race will look like with 3 cars that start at 3 different places.
