This Reintroduce /f/ lesson plan also includes:
Draw a large letter f on the board to begin this letter recognition and sounds activity, asking kids to identify it if they can. Demonstrate the /fff/ sound and explain how you are making it as learners try it out. What words can they think of that begin with this phoneme? Now, play a game as you point to letters written on the board. If you point to an f, scholars say the sound. For every other letter, they must stay silent. Demonstrate this before opening it up to a choral response. The audio function here may not be worth the time it takes to set it up.
