This Reintroduce g lesson plan also includes:
Synthesize pronunciation, recognition, letter sound, and word examples as scholars learn all there is about the letter g. They examine the letter shape and listen to you pronounce the hard /g/ sound. As you explain how this sound is made, they try it out on their own. As a group, brainstorm words that begin with this phoneme and challenge kids to a fast-thinking letter-recognition game. Pupils watch as you point to letters one at a time; if you point to a g they say its sound. For all other letters, they stay silent. The pronunciation guide isn't worth your time for this one, but the letter cards may be helpful.
