Students study metric measurements in the sport of track. In this metric measurement lesson, students watch a video clip to help them understand the different starting points for a track race. Students discuss the size of a meter and the measurements around a track as well as the use of a wheeled tool to measure length. Students complete two assessments related to the topic.
