Students identify how weathering and erosion effect the Earth's surface. In this weathering and rocks lesson, students study various types of rocks in water and brainstorm ways the Earth's surface changes. Students view an interactive demonstration of weathering and erosion. Students record observations of the rocks and water in their journals and complete a series of learning stations for the lesson. Students go outside to look for signs of weathering and erosion.
