Students demonstrate the semi-permeability of a cell membrane. In this rubber egg lesson, students measure and record egg data, place the egg in jar with vinegar and close the lid, observe immediately and periodically for the next 3 days, and then remove to remeasure the egg and compare the appearance before and after the vinegar.
