Martha Alewine, consultant for South Carolina's School Library Media Services, has created several easy to use documents that show teachers and students how to use the Simple Four method of doing research. The steps include planning, acting, organizing and reflecting on information gathered. The documents available on this page include an overview of the Simple Four system, charts which show how the Simple Four can be used in core subject areas and how the process supports information literacy, and suggested projects students might create to demonstrate their information literacy. Another chart correlates the Simple Four with technology skills.
