This picture shows a fossilized dinosaur footprint found in the Lower Jurassic Moenave Formation in Utah, USA. Named Eubrontes, these types of footprints date from the late Triassic Period to the early Jurassic Period and are identified by their shape rather than the species that left them. The average Eubrontes footprint is between 25 and 50cm in length. This image includes a 5cm scale for reference.
