This activity is an introduction to measurement, especially precision. Students should know the difference between precision and accuracy in measurement. They will be able to answer the questions: At what temperature does the mood object change color? Does it make any difference if it is warming up or cooling down? The students will report the precision, accuracy (margin or error) and confidence level of their results.
