Young scholars examine human migrations and hypothesize why Chinese immigrants came to the Pacific Northwest. In groups, they research reasons for the migration and record them on a Venn Diagram with general migratory reasons. Students create maps, postcards, travel brochures, and Powerpoint presentations.
