Solving Equations with the Variable on Both Sides

In this solving equations learning exercise, 9th graders solve and complete 21 different problems that include solving various equations that contain a variable on both sides of the equal sign. Then, students write an equations and solve it, checking their solutions when they finish. They also determine the dimensions of a rectangle given the length.
