Students listen to Stand Tall, Molly Lou Melon in order to determine the main idea and essential message of bullying from the text. In this anti-bullying lesson, students first listen to the story, then each student re-reads the sayings told to Molly Lou by her grandmother in the story. After discussing the story, the students each make a sunflower with their photo attached to the center; on each petal the students write something that makes him/her special.
