If percents, fractions, and decimals can all mean the same number how do we go from one to another? During this instructional activity, watch how it goes over the basic steps needed to go from one rational number to the next. Both examples go in the order of fractions to decimals to percents, the first example goes backward to check. One instructional activity uses the reasoning of multiplying the denominator to get 100 and the other divides the fraction. Because of how simple the instructional activity is, some of the test questions may be too challenging without additional teaching.
