Students explore the concept of exponential growth.  In this exponential growth lesson, students solve a problem about ensuring fairness in a Tug-of-War.  Students determine which students should be on a team to ensure that each team has equal tug power.  Students discuss the pattern of the number of possible combinations in relation to the number of people.  Students discuss the exponential growth of the function y = 2^n.
