- Post the Student Support on Campus and the Positive Coping Skills materials on the classroom wall
- Have groups research and add information to the wall about support services in the community
- Coordinate the lesson with a member of the counseling staff and have them note individuals who appear in distress
Classroom Considerations
- Some learners may be uncomfortable participating in the lesson; therefore, the day before, identify the topic of the lesson and allow those individuals to stay after class to share their concerns with you
